You can make inside bets, which offer the greatest odds or hedge your bets by betting outside.
Inside Bets
Straight Up bet – A chip is placed on one of the numbers paying you 35:1 odds.
Split Bet – The chip is placed on the line separating two adjacent numbers for 17:1 odds.
Street Bet – A bet that covers an entire row (three numbers) of the table for 11:1 odds.
Corner Bet – You can place a chip on the tine in the middle of four numbers for 8:1 odds.
Five Number Bet – This bet only covers the numbers 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3. 6:1 odds if one of the numbers comes up.
Six Number Bet – Covers two rows of three numbers each. You place your chip on the outside line of the two rows you want to cover for 5:1 odds.
Outside Bets
Even money odds are 1:1. You can bet on the ball landing on red or black, high or low numbers, odds or even numbers.
Dozen Bet – The numbers between 1 and 36 are divided into three dozens (1-12, 13-24, and 25-36) paying out 2:1 odds.
Column Bets – You bet which of the three columns of numbers the ball might land on for 2:1 odds. |
